Focused on Architectural Sheet Metal for 20 Years

Trends in architecture are increasingly turning to metal applications including the following metals:

  • Copper, U.S. Metals uses durable 16 or 20 ounce copper for this classic metal

  •  Zinc, timeless European look

  • Cold-rolled steel, weathering (rusting) steel that blends in with its rustic surroundings

  •  Mill finishes for a contrasting appearance

  • Kynar coatings on 24 & 22 GA steel in over 30 different colors, up to 35-year non-prorated warranties

U.S. Metals fabricates its products from prime grade metals.  The majority of its standing seam metal roofs are fabricated from U.S. milled 24 gauge steel with G-90 Galvanized or AZ-50 Galvalume® substrates coated with Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® Fluoropolymer finishes.  U.S. Metals sources its coated metals primarily from, Una-Clad (Firestone), Coated Metals Group and Englert.

U.S. Metals also fabricates its sheet metal products out of other prime grade metals, including, but not limited to the following.

  • Copper, the ultimate in beauty
  • Zinc (polished, pre-weathered, graphite gray), for a classic look
  • Cold-rolled steel (naturally rusts/patinas), for a rustic look
  • Mill finish Galvalume, for a high contrast or industrial look
  • Stainless steel, Titanium, other specialty metals for a unique look
